This single cassette version of the Lux Radio Theatre’s production of The Stratton Story, starring Jimmy Stewart and June Allyson, was issued in 1999 (AMC 6030).
The show was originally broadcast on February 13, 1950. Besides the entire show, the tape also includes commentary from AMC’s Jeffrey Lyons, who talks about both Stewart and Allyson’s careers as well as other films about baseball.
