In 2004, Chris Isaak released the album, Christmas (Mailboat Records MBD 2010), in the United States. Backing him on the album were Kenney Dale Johnson (drums, vocals), Rowland Salley (bass, vocals) and Hershel Yatovitz (guitar, vocals). Track number nine was titled Christmas on TV and Jimmy Stewart was mentioned in the lyrics. After saying that he’s watching Christmas on TV, Isaak sings “Jimmy Stewart, he’s with his friends…the bells are ringing…it’s near the end.”
