Diane Schuur’s CD, Friends for Schuur, was released in 2000(Concord Jazz CCD-4898-2). Nine of the eleven tracks featured one of Schuur’s friends either singing or playing an instrument. On Red Cab to Manhattan, Stephen Bishop adds the vocals. The lyrics to the song mention both Jimmy Stewart and It’s a Wonderful Life.
