We recently tracked down a copy of a Japanese 45 RPM recording from the soundtrack of How the West Was Won (MGM LL 2179). The single featured How the West Was Won by Alfred Newman and the MGM Studio Orchestra on one side and Debbie Reynolds’ Home in the Meadow on the other side. The single was issued with a special insert showing a scene from the film on one side and information of the recording on the reverse.
